Fragment 7 – Invitation to the House

Invitation to the House[1]

By

Unknown

Winds change at the hour when shadows merge with the light[2], marking the moment for a gathering of minds. The Council of the House awaits, where whispers turn into decisions that shape the morrow. Seek the sign of the twinned journey, under the gaze of the silent guardian whose eyes are veiled by the night[3]. Bring the key that sings the song of solidarity, for only those who know the melody may enter.[4]

The gathering’s heart beats in sync with the promise of dawn, where each voice, a thread, weaves the tapestry of our collective destiny[5]. Remember, the falcon flies at dusk[6], carrying messages known to few, read by fewer.[7]

The silent guardian marks the path[8]; follow its lead without drawing the eyes of the uninitiated.

Inside, the Council[9] awaits. Speak in tones of the earth, grounded yet reaching for the sky.

The future is a river fed by many streams. Let ours converge at the House, shaping the currents that will carry us forward.[10] Until the hour arrives, let the wind carry your steps and the stars guide your path.[11]

[1] The Jig Jig house. Yes, The Jig Jig House. – Bobik Galo

[2] Apparently the code meant the 19th hour, because that was when the sun set on the 5th day of the Month of New Paths, 1581 in Watu, home of The Jig Jig house. – B.G.

[3] Most likely, the Watu guard, though some say this refers to the Two-Moon Conclave. – B.G.

[4] The code was the fragment (hah!) of a rebel song by the name of “Rise, Gann, Rise.” – B.G.

[5] A destiny they made. – B.G.

[6] Some say this refers again to the meeting time, others say it refers to a secret exit of the Jig Jig House. – B.G.

[7] And now, by you (yew?). – B.G.

[8] Unclear if this refers to the Watu Guard/Two-Moon Conclave, or if it refers to the statue of Yn that stands across the road from the House. – B.G.

[9] The Council truly formed that night. – B.G.

[10] The currents carry us still. – B.G.

[11] The recipient of this particular copy of the note did survive. She was gracious enough to let me borrow it for transcription. She did, however, make me buy her a cup of Jig Jig, which was more than fair. – B.G.
